Silence of the Dead
Murder has come to the city of Tronte...
Holtar didn’t become a necromancer for the prestige - he did it because talking to the dead is marginally easier than dealing with the living. Unfortunately, his latest case has given him a fresh problem: the corpses aren’t talking.
No last words. No cryptic riddles. Just silence. And silence, as it turns out, is very bad when your job depends on listening to the dead speak of their final moments.
With only a snarky, possessed skull called Seymour as his companion, Holtar must unravel a conspiracy that threatens both the living and the dead—one that grows more tangled, absurd, and dangerously personal with every once-bitten pastry.
Silence of the Dead is a fantasy mystery with the wit of a detective comedy - where necromancy is just another thankless job, the dead refuse to talk, and the killer has an unsettling passion for pastry-based clues.

Tronte: A City of Heroes, Villains, & Very Bad Decisions
Welcome to Tronte, a bustling medieval city where heroes are as common as pickpockets and twice as likely to cause property damage. Home to The Heroes Guild and every other guild imaginable, including The Knitting Guild and the mysteriously absent Thieves Guild - Tronte attracts adventurers, fortune-seekers, and those who've simply taken a very wrong turn somewhere.
The city thrums with the constant energy of would-be legends arguing in taverns, wizards setting things on fire by accident, and barbarians who've confused ‘polite conversation’ with ‘battle cry.’ Market squares bustle with merchants peddling everything from enchanted teacups to suspiciously affordable dragon eggs, while the docks echo with the tall tales of sailors who've definitely seen sea monsters (honest).
Tronte's streets wind between establishments like The Golden Golem (where the ale flows freely and the furniture breaks hourly), Miss McGreggar's Pie Shop (serving pastries so good they're practically magical), and The Snake & Pit (where the landlord's dwarven credentials are questionable at best). The city guard patrol these streets with varying degrees of competence, trying to maintain order whilst dealing with the daily chaos that comes with hosting every hero, villain, and talking sword in the known realm.
It's a place where adventure lurks around every corner, danger hides in every shadow, and someone's always willing to sell you a map to the nearest dragon's lair - authenticity not guaranteed. In Tronte, the only thing more dangerous than the monsters are the heroes hired to fight them.

This novel delivers the perfect amount of bang for your entertainment buck. A satisfying combination of mystery, tension, magic, and stupid jokes and puns
